Skyvault Capital invests its shareholders’ own capital directly into a focused portfolio of early-stage companies. This allows us to make considered decisions, remain patient through the uneven work of building and support founders without the short-term pressures of a traditional fund structure.

Skyvault Capital was created by two brothers, Marco and Nico, to invest their own capital directly into ambitious early-stage companies.

Having built companies ourselves, we know how frustrating fundraising can be: long processes, unanswered emails and decisions that never arrive. That is why every founder who contacts us gets a reply, and why the two of us can decide together in days rather than routing a decision through a committee.

We believe the strongest investor–founder relationships are built through shared risk, direct communication and patience. Our aim is to build a focused portfolio while becoming the kind of shareholder founders value having around the table.

Marco Kühn

Partner — Operations & Investments

Marco brings ten years of operating experience across mobility, e-commerce and venture building — over three years in operations at Uber in London, working with the UK teams on supply acquisition, retention and engagement.

Before Uber he worked in EU Operations and Customer Fulfilment at Amazon and in Global Venture Development & Investments at Rocket Internet in Berlin.

He leads diligence, commercial questions and the operating support we give portfolio companies after investment.

Nico Kühn

Partner — Product & Technology

Nico is a technology founder. He built and leads Loveo (formerly TracknTake) and GetPuri, shipping products from first prototype to paying customers.

Having raised, built and hired himself, he knows what an early round actually feels like from the founder's side of the table — which is why we reply to every company and decide quickly.

He focuses on product, technical judgement and the first stages of go-to-market.
